Geographical Extension: Nevada, Western Arizona and South California to South Mexico
Habitat: arid to semi arid and rocky areas with bushes.
Size: up to approx. 40 cm
Life Expectancy: > 15 years
Reproduction: up to 8 eggs, incubation period at 25-33°C approx. 45-85 days.
Temperature: air temperature between 30-38°C, local heat spots up to 45-50°C. Night setback to room temperature.
Humidity: 30-50%
Lighting: Daylight fluorescent tubes, if necessary UV tubes (see "Sorry Link missing"). For sufficient UV radiation we recommend "Sorry Link missing" or "Sorry Link missing". "Sorry Link missing" for the creation of local heat spots. Species needs a strong illumination. If necessary the use of HQI lamps or T5 fluorescent tubes is recommended.

Insects should be offered occasionally
