Geographical Extension: Madagascar (central east coast)
Habitat: tropical rainforests, night-active
Size: 13-15 cm
Reproduction: 2 hard-shelled eggs, several clutches per year. Incubation period at 18-25°C between 84-99 days.
Temperature: air temperature between 22-25°C, locally up to 28°C. If possible night-time temperature drop to 20°C.
Humidity: 70-100%
Lighting: Daylight fluorescent tubes, if necessary UV tubes (see "Sorry Link missing"). For sufficient UV radiation we recommend "Sorry Link missing" or "Sorry Link missing".
Substrate: loose, absorptive substrate (see "Sorry Link missing").
Cage Furniture: amongst other things: vertical climbing facilities (in differnt strenghts), moreover it is recommended to encase the rear and side panels with cork. Planting is possible (Ficus benjamina, F. pumila, Scindapsus etc.). Various hiding places and a waterbowl - eventually with a waterfall or similar complete the terrarium configuration.
food: Insects (e.g. cricktets, house crickets, grasshoppers, cockroaches, super mealworms, wax moths, flies etc.) also products from the "Sorry Link missing". Regular additions of "Sorry Link missing" and "Sorry Link missing" are necessary.
Comment: This species was first described scientifically in 2003.
