Habitat: from dry to semiarid biotopes. Diurnal
Size: up to 35 cm
Life Expectancy: over 10 years
Reproduction: lays up to 13 eggs. Incubation period at 30°C abóut 60-70 days.
Temperature: air temperature between 26-28°C, local heat spots up to 45°C. Night setback to about 20°C.
Humidity: 60-70%
Lighting: Daylight fluorescent tubes, if necessary UV tubes (see "Sorry Link missing"). For sufficient UV radiation we recommend "Sorry Link missing" or the Arcadia D3 Compact Lamp. "Sorry Link missing" for the creation of local heat spots. The species needs a strong illumination!

Cage Furniture: hideouts, stones, roots, climbing facilities, additonally a background would be feasible . A flat water bowl. The cage substrate should always be slightly wet in one spot.
food: Insects (e.g. cricktets, house crickets, grasshoppers, cockroaches, super mealworms, wax moths, etc.) also products from the "Sorry Link missing". Additionally mince meat and sweet fruits. Regular additions of "Sorry Link missing" and "Sorry Link missing" are necessary.
Comment: Highly active species which likes to climb. A very large and roomy terrarium is required for successful animal husbandry. Adult males are irreconcilable among themselves, only one male should be kept together with one or more females.
