Geographical Extension: Southern Thailand, Malaysia, Penang and Borneo
Habitat: rainforest and the fringe areas, tree-dwelling, mostly close to waters
Size: male 40 cm, female a bit smaller, 2/3 tail
Life Expectancy: propably over 10 years
Reproduction: 2-3 months after pairing female lays 2-5 eggs, at 23°C hatch after 4 months babies
Temperature: 25-30°C, at night 16-20°C, local 35°C
Humidity: 60-90% The use of special technology is recommended like Super Rain or Super Fog, which can be controlled with Humidity Control or PRO Timer.
Lighting: Daylight Sun T5 in combination with Light Strip. As heat, light and UV source we recommend the use of Bright Sun UV Jungle and for a local sunbath place Lucky Reptile Halogen Sun
Substrate: Jungle Bedding and Coconut soil in combination with Lucky Reptile Hydro Drain and Hydro Fleece to avoid swamping.
Cage Furniture: Enough Branches and hiding places like cork tubes. Additional a "Sorry Link missing" and waterfall. They only react to flowing and dripping water. Planting possible.
Terrarium Size (for long term care): for a pair at least 100x50x100 cm
food: cockroachs, wax worms larvae, wax worms, circkets, locusts, sow bugs, bugs, spiders and baby mice. It is important to give regulary Mineral and Vitamines.
