Geographical Extension: Tanzania
Habitat: dry and mountain rain forests, in heights of 400 to 2400 m above sea-level.
Size: approx. 20 cm overall length
Life Expectancy: about 8 years
Reproduction: lays 6-12 eggs. Incubation is very difficult! Incubation at day at about 22°C and at night at 18°C, duration approx. 140 days.
Temperature: air temperature between 22-25°C, local heat spots up to 35°C. Night setback to 12-18°C.
Humidity: 50-80%
Lighting: Daylight fluorescent tubes, if necessary UV tubes (see "Sorry Link missing"). For sufficient UV radiation we recommend "Sorry Link missing" or "Sorry Link missing". "Sorry Link missing" for the creation of local heat spots.
Substrate: loose, absorptive substrate (see "Sorry Link missing").
Cage Furniture: climbing facilities, blinds for rear and side panels. Planting is possible (Ficus benjamina, Scindapsus sp., Epipremnium sp., Hoya sp., etc.). Many hiding places. Good air circulation is required! A dripper is recommended (see "Sorry Link missing").

Comment: Keeping is very challenging! High demand on climate. Stress sensitive. Keeping in pairs possible to some extent.
