This species is characterised by its high colouring variety. In addition to grey and brown specimen there are also animals with very nice colourations in yellow, orange and red. The Common Tree Boa is very impetous and tends to bite at the slightest disturbance. A former subspecies is considered a species in its own right by now (C. ruschenbergerii). |
