Habitat: from deciduous forests to dry savannahs, crepuscular
Size: approx. 80-130 cm
Life Expectancy: over 20 years
Reproduction: lays 20-30 eggs, 2 clutches per year are possible. Incubation period at 27°C about 60 days.
Temperature: ground temperature between 26-28°C, local heat spots up to 33°C. Night setback to 20-23°C.
Humidity: 50-70%
Lighting: Daylight fluorescent tubes e.g. "Sorry Link missing" or "Sorry Link missing"
Substrate: loose, absorptive substrate (see "Sorry Link missing").
Cage Furniture: hideouts, stones, roots and other climbing facilities. Planting is possible (Ficus benjamina, Scindapsus etc.). Flat water bowl.
Terrarium Size (for long term care): Minimum requirement 1x0.5x1 (LxWxH) of the overall length of the animal for one pair. At least 150x60x120 are recommended.

Comment: Many colour variations are available through breeding by now. The different colour variations of Corn Snakes can be tended together without problems.
