Geographical Extension: Southern Puebla in Mexico
Habitat: dry mountain regions, dusk and night active
Size: approx. 70-95 cm
Life Expectancy: over 15 years
Reproduction: 4-7 eggs. Incubation period at 28°C approx. 55-65 days. A short resting period at 10-15°C is recommended for breeding.
Temperature: air temperature between 25-28°C, locally up to 33°C. Night setback to about 20-23°C.
Humidity: 50-60%
Lighting: Daylight fluorescent tubes e.g. "Sorry Link missing" or "Sorry Link missing"
Substrate: loamy soil with rock structures or "Sorry Link missing" or grit. Also "Sorry Link missing".
Cage Furniture: hideouts, stones, roots among other things climbing facilities, a small flat water bowl. Planting is possible (Aloe sp., Euphorbia sp. etc.)
Terrarium Size (for long term care): Minimum requirement 1x0.5x0.5 (LxWxH) of the overall length of the animal for one pair. At least 100x50x50 are recommended.
