| Reproduction: | Breeding is quite difficult, because there are large temperature deviations between night and day. Males need a long time after their maturity molt until they are ready for pairing. A cocoon consists of up to 600 eggs. Spiderlings are only 2 mm large. The cocoon is covered with urticating hairs. |
